Sunnybank Hills Shoppingtown is turning 40, and we’re celebrating with a month packed with prizes, activities and plenty of birthday fun!

From our official Cake Cutting Ceremony and $40,000 Shop, Spin & Win campaign to school holiday activities for the whole community, there are plenty of ways to join the celebrations this September.

🎂 40th Birthday Cake Cutting Ceremony

Wednesday 16 September | From 10:00am | Outside Kmart

Come and celebrate 40 years of Sunnybank Hills Shoppingtown at our official Cake Cutting Ceremony! Join us as we cut the birthday cake and mark four decades with our community. We’ll have 150 cupcakes to give away, free coffee vouchers and $2,000 worth of prizes up for grabs.

Thursday 17 – Sunday 20 September |  10:00am – 1:00pm daily & 3:00pm - 7:00pm Thursday |Outside Best & Less

We’re celebrating 40 years in a BIG way with $40,000 worth of prizes to be won!

🎨 Paint Your Sunnybank

Monday 21 – Friday 25 September | 10:00am – 1:00pm | Outside Kmart, Level 4

Calling all artists big and small! Help us bring our 40th birthday community mural to life with Paint Your Sunnybank. Create your own mini masterpiece inspired by what Sunnybank means to you, then add it to our Giant 40 on Level 3. New masterpieces will be added each day, creating a colourful celebration of our community. You can even collect your artwork after the display and take your masterpiece home!

🔎 Hidden Door Hunt

Monday 28 September – Friday 2 October | 10:00am – 1:00pm | Start Outside Kmart, Level 4

Something tiny is hiding around Sunnybank Hills Shoppingtown… can you find them all? Pick up an activity sheet and explore the Centre in search of 10 hidden doors. Complete your activity sheet as you discover each one, then return it to claim a $5 Foodie Voucher!

The hunt is open to all ages. FREE to participate – no bookings required.
