CHILDREN’S ACTIVITIES

📚Make and Create for kids
Enjoy free school holiday craft activities.

When: Tuesday 7 & 14 April, 1:00pm – 2:00pm

Ideal for children aged 4 – 8 years old. 


📚Tween STEAM
Join us for games and activities exploring science, technology, reading and art. Challenge your thinking and discover your creative in a fun environment.

When: Wednesday 15 April, 4:00pm – 5:00pm

Ideal for children aged 8 – 12 years. Bookings required, call the library to reserve your place.


📚Explore our Sea
Explore Queensland’s marine world through hands-on art and science. Examine real marine specimens using microscopes, learn all about local specie and habitats and produce some original artwork to take home.

When: Monday 13 April, 10:30am – 11:30am

Ideal for children aged 6 – 12 years old. Bookings required, call the library to reserve your place.

📚Sunnybank Hills creative writers’ group
This writing group provides a creative and constructive environment to share your love of writing and develop your writing skills. New members welcome.

When: Wednesday 15 April, 9:30am – 1:30pm

📚Southside Community Craft Circle
This craft group makes clothes, rugs and toys to support the disadvantaged children in Queensland. New members welcome.

When: Friday 24th April, 1:00pm-3:30pm
